Griffin Zigrang CrossFit Coach

 Griffin Zigrang

Griffin’s introduction to CrossFit came in 2011 when she stumbled upon crossfit.com and started doing the WODs at her local gym. She was immediately hooked. After moving to CO in May 2014, she joined her first affiliate at CrossFit Ken Caryl, and a few months later, found her place at CrossFit 720.

Griffin was a competitive gymnast from age 2 to 14, but quit as a Level 10 when she had to have major back surgery. She moved on to power tumbling, competitive cheerleading, and competitive dance for several years, but gymnastics was a passion that, years later, she still hasn't gotten over. A big part of why she turned to CrossFit is the emphasis on gymnastics, but even more, she loves it for introducing her to Olympic lifting and the fantastic community of fitness-ambitious people who push her, day in and day out, to break past her fitness barriers.

Pre-CrossFit, Griffin earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Longwood University and Master of Art in Organizational Behavior from Claremont Graduate University. She worked in the public sector, both federal and local, for six years before acknowledging that fitness was her passion and it was time to make the transition.

Griffin is thrilled to be a coach at CrossFit 720!!

Kathleen Haggerty - CrossFit Coach

Kathleen Haggerty

Born in Las Vegas, NV, raised in Beaver Falls, PA, I have been active and on the go since I was young. I was born into a military family, dad being a fighter pilot and my mom being a master sergeant, I was taught at an early age to work hard. At the age of 3 I started gymnastics and never looked back and I ended my career at the age of 18 with one national championship win under my belt. Throughout those years I coached other gymnasts starting at the age of 5 to about 16 and loved being able to share my passion with them. After high school, I moved to Charlotte, NC in 2006 to attend Belmont Abbey College where I graduated in 2009 with my Bachelors in Business Management/Marketing. I made Charlotte my residence for a few years after that and then in 2014 I decided I wanted a challenge and moved to Denver, CO.

I fell in love with Crossfit in 2012 when a friend of mine moved back from South Korea where she had become a Crossfit addict and decided to share her passion with me. I made a huge life change and Crossfit was the biggest part. It not only got me into the greatest shape but it emotionally and mentally changed my life. I really love helping others feel happy and their best and by coaching Crossfit I get to do both of those. I hope to continue to share my passion with athletes and continue to grow as a coach for years to come.
